Hey all this is my first blog!

With a wood Kiln the lead up to a firing always seems to start with gathering wood and getting the kiln furniture ready. With the work I make the finished look is entirely dependent on how the Kiln is loaded and the type and condition of the wood I burn. I hope to document the stages of producing my art in the upcoming blogs, from gathering wood to creating ware and ending with the opening of the Kiln after firing.
